Description

As a Collection Analyst here at Honeywell you will play a critical role in managing the collections process and ensuring timely and accurate collection of outstanding accounts receivable. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze customer payment trends develop action plans and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the efficiency of the collections function.

You will report directly to our Sr. Collections Supervisor and youll work out of our Prague location on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role you will impact the financial performance of the organization by optimizing cash flow minimizing bad debt and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction through effective collections strategies.



Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieving past due goals cash targets and reductions in unapplied cash aged debt and disputes on a portfolio of accounts for Aerospace customers
  • Activities include establishing and maintaining contact with external customers (including travel) concerning past due invoices payment trends resolution of disputed invoices and other matters related to past due receivables
  • Interfacing with internal customers at various business levels related to customer disputes invoice copies proof of delivery contract/PO issues etc. Internal customers include: Sales Customer Support Order Entry & Program Managers Supply Chain Disputes.
  • Preparing and updating data for financial presentations in cash calls and Tier meetings with the Business Team
  • Understanding credit risk recommending customer credit terms and limits to maximize sales while limiting late payment and bad debt risk.
  • Providing monthly past due forecast and various analysis.
  • Conducting business in a manner that promotes both internal and external customer satisfaction.


Qualifications

Key Qualifications:

  • Preferred education in Finance or related field
  • experience in related field not a condition but advantage
  • Strong PC skills including Excel and PowerPoint and experience with other Microsoft Office products
  • Knowledge of SAP AR system highly desirable
  • Strong problem solving interpersonal and financial analysis skills
  • Goal oriented motivated self-starter with excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Excellent oral written and presentations skills
  • Knowledge of accounting principles credit and collection policies and procedures and credit risk advantage
  • Fluent English
