Salary: Starting from 35000 (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am 4:30pm

Role Overview
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Estimator to join a busy aluminium division. The successful candidate
will be responsible for managing customer enquiries producing accurate quotations and processing orders from initial
enquiry through to dispatch. This role requires strong technical knowledge of aluminium window and door systems the
ability to interpret technical drawings and excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with customers and internal
departments. You will work closely with estimating colleagues materials teams warehouse operatives and production staff
to ensure projects are processed accurately and delivered on time.
Key Responsibilities
Estimating & Order Processing
Interpret and understand technical drawings specifications and hand-drawn window and door designs.
Prepare accurate quotations using Logikal estimating software.
Process customer orders from enquiry through to final dispatch.
Ensure all project specifications and requirements are captured accurately and communicated internally.
Manage projects from initial enquiry through to final delivery while maintaining clear communication with all
stakeholders.
Monitor progress of orders to ensure deadlines and service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
Technical Expertise
Demonstrate strong knowledge of aluminium window and door systems.
Work with system profiles including AluK Rabel and Jack Aluminium.
Provide technical advice and guidance to customers including architects contractors and installation companies.
Communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ensure product specifications and system requirements are accurately applied during the estimating process.
Customer & Project Coordination
Manage enquiries from a wide range of clients including architects main contractors and window installation
companies.
Maintain clear and professional communication with customers throughout the lifecycle of a project.
Respond to queries in a timely and professional manner while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth project progression from order placement through to
delivery.
Team Support & Leadership
Support the estimating team with daily workload planning and prioritisation.
Review workloads and allocate tasks based on team capacity and expertise.
Provide guidance and mentoring support to junior estimators.
Assist with the development and maintenance of a training matrix for the estimating team.
Identify training and development opportunities to support team growth.
Continuous Improvement
Contribute to business improvement initiatives and operational efficiency projects.
Identify opportunities to improve processes accuracy and productivity within the estimating function.
Participate in internal meetings and contribute ideas to enhance service delivery and cost efficiency.
General Responsibilities
Maintain professional communication with colleagues suppliers and customers.
Ensure all documentation and records are accurately stored and maintained (both electronic and hard copy).
Maintain a clean organised and safe working environment.

Person Specification
Knowledge
Essential
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Experience using Logikal estimating software
Strong understanding of aluminium window and door systems
Experience
Essential
Previous experience in a similar estimating role within the fenestration or construction sector
Experience managing customer enquiries and providing quotations
Strong customer service experience
