Training the next generation of scientists is a core mission of the EMBL. EICATs Internal Scientific Training team coordinates EMBLs Predoctoral and Postdoctoral programmes which host around 500 fellows at any given time. Both programmes leverage EMBLs interdisciplinary and dynamic scientific environment and together with the EMBL Fellows Career Service and the Complementary Scientific Skills programme provide world class training and career development for our fellows.
As a Programme Officer for ARISE2 you will be involved in implementing a new EC-funded project (ARISE2) to support the recruitment and training of 50 researchers. ARISE2 offers talented STEM fellows from around the world the unique opportunity to work on the development and/or improvement of technologies for Life Science Research while developing the expertise needed for a career in research infrastructures making them sought after experts both in academia and industry.
As part of the Fellowship Programme team which includes the Ph.D. and Postdoctoral Programmes you will run daily operations develop the programme and implement all recruitment training and outreach activities. You will also work closely with the ARISE2 Programme leadership.
