Job Summary
PacArctic LLC a Koniag Government Services company is seeking a Network Security Engineer with a Secret security clearance to support PAC and our government customer in Arlington VA. We offer competitive compensation and an extraordinary benefits package including health dental and vision insurance 401K with company matching flexible spending accounts paid holidays three weeks paid time off and Functions Responsibilities & Duties may include but are not limited to:Intermediate Network Security Engineer:Provide subject matter expertise (5-7 years) in network security engineeringMonitor LAN ports switches for servers and interconnectivity between the switches and other network devicesProvide subject matter expertise in the areas of Routing Switching Remote access Security Information Event management and Next Generation Firewalls with product specific knowledge of Cisco and Juniper Switches and Palo Alto Networks management of virtual private network (VPN) solution that allows remote End Users and to securely connect to the network and Application Services over the internetProvide Operations and Maintenance for all onsite components all external connections (VPNs) all routing and switching environments the Next Generation Firewall the Remote access solution and Security Information Event Network and Security engineering support for internal systems integration projects such as the cloud-based services VOIP virtualized infrastructure server and storage environmentRespond to and remediate the efforts of malicious activity and intrusions as defined in the Incident Management Requirement:Secret Security clearance Our Equal Employment Opportunity PolicyThe company is an equal opportunity employer.
