TITLE: Landscaper

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. High School diploma or valid G.E.D.
2. Valid motor vehicle operators license.
3. Possess valid Arizona Department of Public Safety fingerprintcard.
4. 2 years experience preferred.
5. Able to show experience as a school landscaper or theequivalent in a landscaping position at another institution orfirm.
6. Able to demonstrate an aptitude in operating powerequipment to include but not limited to truck lawn mowerhedge trimmer tractor front-end loader and backhoe.
7. Ability to operate flood irrigation systems including well pumpsand interconnecting irrigation pipes.

Alternative to the above qualifications as the Governing Board findsappropriate and acceptable.

REPORTS TO: Director of Maintenance & Operations

WORKS CLOSELY WITH: Director of Maintenance & Operations

JOB GOAL: Maintain grounds in a condition of operating excellence so that full
educational use of them may be made at all times. To assist the
custodial staff in maintaining district-wide grounds by providing a
clean and efficient facility.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

This list represents the essential tasks performed by the position. These essential job functions are not to beconstrued as a complete statement of all duties performed. Employees will be required to perform otherduties as assigned. Duties responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice.

1. Perform all work associated with the maintenance of the schoolgrounds district-wide.
2. Mow lawns; trim trees and hedges and water trees shrubsand lawns on the district-wide grounds and the school football
field track field softball and baseball diamonds and areaswithin chain link fence.
3. Diagnose and repair all sprinkler systems so each tree/plant isgetting the correct amount of water.

4. Keep all sidewalks clean swept and clear of debris to maintainsafe walkways.
5. Pick up all trash and debris daily.
6. Check maintain and make any repairs if needed to exteriorgates and fences for security of campus.
7. Perform preparation and cleanup maintenance of all playingfields prior to each scheduled school athletic activity as assignedby the Bullhead City School District.
8. Perform other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuringthe efficient and effective function of the District.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 5days per week.

EVALUATION: Performance will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions ofthe Boards policy on Evaluation of Staff.
