Responsibilities:
- Assign monitor and balance the ongoing workload of the assigned staff utilizing the CMMS.
- Monitor and ensure that the assigned facility/facilities complies with the requirements of licensing regulatory and accreditation bodies.
- Assist in conducting inspections of work to ensure quality and conformity to building code standards and adherence to policies and procedures and to ensure adequate staff productivity.
- Performs a full array of Facilities Engineering maintenance and/or repairs an estimated 20-40% of work time.
Requirements:
- Work requires in addition to the knowledge acquired through a general high school education: the ability to read blueprints and specifications use and interpret various testing meters gauges and instruments for electrical mechanical and refrigeration equipment; operate various power tools hand tools and carpentry shop machinery and knowledge of safety procedures and practices - acquired in the first two years of technical school or with two additional years of work experience beyond the experience requirement listed below in lieu of technical school.
- Work requires three and five years progressively more responsible experience in order to acquire the ability to oversee the operations of the assigned region.
- Position requires proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; computerized maintenance management system.
