The Senior Recruitment Analyst is a dynamic talent acquisition leader within the Human Resources Development Group (HRDG) serving as a team lead and trusted partner to agency leadership. This role drives full-cycle recruitmentfrom sourcing and screening to interview coordination and selectionwhile ensuring compliance with ADCRR policies and state and federal regulations. Recruiting across skilled trades substance abuse counseling education IT/technical Arizona Correctional Industries (ACI) and executive-level roles the Senior Recruitment Analyst builds strong pipelines through colleges military partnerships community outreach LinkedIn sourcing and career fairs. This position exercises independent judgment leads key recruitment projects delivers exceptional customer service and travels statewide to attract top talent that strengthens the agencys workforce.

Job Duties:

-Serves as Team Lead for the Human Resources Development Group (HRDG) Recruitment Unit overseeing daily recruitment operations leading short- and long-term projects and providing professional guidance to agency leadership and staff.
-Manages full-cycle recruitment including sourcing screening interviewing and selection while implementing effective strategies using job boards social media networking and recruitment software.
-Drafts and posts job announcements reviews resumes tracks applicants conducts phone and in-person interviews and coordinates interview scheduling with hiring managers and candidates.
-Partners with hiring authorities to assess position requirements and develop targeted recruitment strategies to fill vacancies efficiently.
-Develops innovative talent acquisition strategies and delivers exceptional customer service to hiring managers and applicants.
-Responds to applicant inquiries regarding recruitment policies procedures job availability and hiring status.
-Travels statewide including occasional weekends to collaborate with field leadership on recruitment efforts.
-Selects schedules and represents the agency at job fairs and recruitment events.
-Drives on State business
-Performs other duties appropriate to the assignment

Knowledge Skills & Abilities (KSAs):

Knowledge of:
-Current recruitment trends employer branding social media strategies and Boolean search techniques.
-Professional-level human resources practices and procedures.
-Personnel administration including recruitment classification and compensation selection and hiring.

Skill in:
-Written and verbal communication.
-Building and maintaining strong interpersonal relationships.
-Problem-solving and decision-making.
-Evaluating resumes using the Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSA) method.
-Developing creative recruitment strategies for hard-to-fill positions.

Ability to:

-Learn and effectively use Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and PageUp software.
-Interpret and apply department policies state regulations and Arizona Department of -Administration (ADOA) Personnel Rules.
-Draft comprehensive job announcements.
-Manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
-Remain self-motivated.
-Maintain confidentiality.
-Adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Selective Preference(s):

-Three (3) years of experience as a full-cycle recruiter and experience in recruiting skilled trades and technical positions.

Pre-Employment Requirements:

Employment is contingent on the selected applicant passing a background investigation.

If this position requires driving or the use of a vehicle as an essential function of the job then the following requirements apply. Any employee operating a motor vehicle on State business must possess and retain a current valid class-appropriate drivers license complete all required training and successfully pass all necessary drivers license record checks. The license must be current unexpired and neither revoked nor suspended. Employees who drive on state business are subject to drivers license record checks must maintain acceptable driving records and must complete all required driver training. An employee who operates a personally owned vehicle on state business shall maintain the statutorily required liability insurance (see Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.) R.11).

In an effort to maintain a safe environment all employees are required to take a Tuberculosis (TB) test during their New Employee Orientation and every year thereafter.

All newly hired State employees are subject to and must successfully complete the Electronic Employment Eligibility Verification Program (E-Verify).

Retirement:

Positions in this classification participate in the Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS).

Enrollment eligibility will become effective after 27 weeks of employment.
