Responsibilities
Responsible for direct supervision of Therapists and support collaboration with the Manager oversees operations including assessing planning implementing and evaluating the care of the departmental patients in order to ensure that patients and families receive an optimum level of care and service. Accountable for providing expertise leadership effective communication staff development and budget support.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree in Physical Therapy Occupational Therapy or Speech-Language Pathology required
Experience
3 years of experience as a Staff Therapist required
Experience in the healthcare industry or a healthcare setting required
Licenses and Certifications
BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
One of the following is required:
PT - State of California Physical Therapist License
OT - State of California Occupational Therapist License
SLP - State of California Speech Language Pathologist License
