Job Summary
Student Worker Fitness Center Attendant

Purpose/Objective of the Role:
The OWU Athletics Department is looking to hire Fitness Center Attendants.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
This position serves as the primary customer service representative for the Simpson-Querrey Fitness Center and/or Morrill Strength & Conditioning Room and is responsible for:
- Greeting and welcoming members/guests with a smile and friendly attitude.
- Upholding enforcing and clearly communicating rules and regulations of fitness center.
- Performing duties at desks; including but not limited to checking IDs to ensure proper patron access to facility rental of recreational equipment and maintaining user counts.
- Monitoring organizing and cleaning the fitness center (including workspace); maintaining a presentable environment for users.
- Performing laundry of towels as well as re-filling equipment cleaning bottles.
- Attending any required meetings or training sessions.
- Regular attendance of assigned shifts.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to work mornings nights or weekends.
- Must possess the physical ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Previous customer service experience preferred.
