The Department of Anesthesiology at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School seeks a qualified general anesthesiologist for a full-time position as Assistant Professor Non-Tenure Track. Duties include on-site anesthesia services to adult patients at University Hospital; intraoperative and didactic teaching of residents; participation in Faculty Development programs; work collaboratively with the members of the surgical services both clinically and administratively; and participation in research that forwards the discipline both academically and clinically. Qualified applicants must: 1. Have a medical doctorate or equivalent 2. Hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the state of New Jersey and 3. Be a BC/BE Anesthesiologist. The effective day of the appointment July 1st 2026 We offer excellent benefits and a competitive salary.
