Job Summary

The Department of Modern Languages Literatures and Cultures at Wofford College invites applications for Spanish instructors for a one-semester appointment.

EXPECTATIONS

The teaching load for this one-semester appointment will consist of three Spanish 100- or 200-level multi-section courses during the Fall 2026 semester. Instructors will have an enthusiasm for teaching first-year students and working collaboratively with colleagues in the Spanish program and the broader Modern Languages addition they will provide grammar workshops for students and participate in co-curricular activities on campus.

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualified candidates will hold a terminal M.A. degree in languages literatures cultures and/or a closely related field by the start of the appointment. Applicants must demonstrate proven experience teaching Spanish as a second language.
