Job Description
Project/Program:New York State Electronic Certificate of Need (NYSE-CON) and Health Facility Information System (HFIS)
This Software Developer position will provide database developer services and support for the NYSE-CON and HFIS applications.
Day-to-Day:
Tasks may include but are not limited to the following:
- Analysis and design of database objects and data collection systems including the transformation of legislative requirements into system functionality;
- Data modeling;
- Software development tasks including coding testing and implementation;
- Preparation of technical and user documentation.
Mandatory Requirements:
Software Developer - Is involved with all facets of the software development process including the research design programming testing and implementation of computer software.
Expert - 84 months: Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.
Requested Requirements:
- 84 Months of experience interpreting physical database models and experience with relational database concepts such as indexes primary and foreign keys and constraints using Oracle.
- 84 Months of experience working with Oracle version 9i or later.
- 60 Months of experience in using Oracle programming tools (SQL*Plus PL/SQL SQL*Loader or other Oracle database programming tools).
- 48 Months of experience using at least 2 of the following techniques in Oracle PL/SQL: dynamic SQL FORALL and BULK COLLECT SYSREFCURSOR SYSCONTEXT and PL/SQL logging.
- 48 Months experience designing relational databases.
- 24 Months experience integrating multiple database schemas.
