100% day shift working Monday Friday from 8:00 am 5:00 pm. Currently no weekends or holidays however subject to change based on future service needs. You will work at University Hospital Arbor Gate clinic and/or Eastpark Medical Center in Madison WI.

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to:

Synthesize and interpret data for patient care in various clinic settings.
Manage pre and post procedural patients for interventional and structural heart patients including H&Ps consenting admitting rounding and facilitating discharges at University Hospital.
Conduct independent ambulatory clinic visits seeing a sub-set of interventional and structural heart patient conditions including aortic mitral and tricuspid valve disease post-procedure patients and pre-operative risk stratification patients.
Participate in multi-disciplinary care meetings for complex coronary interventions and structural heart cases.

Education:
Minimum

If Nurse Practitioner: Masters or Doctorates degree from accredited Nursing Program.
If Physician Assistant: Bachelors or Masters degree from accredited PA Program.

Work Experience:

Preferred Two years of APP ambulatory experience.

Licenses and Certifications:
Minimum -

If Nurse Practitioner: Active RN and APNP license in State of Wisconsin AND active board certification as a NP in Adult; Adult/Gerontology Acute Care; Adult/Gerontology Primary Care; Family; Gerontology.
If Physician Assistant: Active PA license in State of Wisconsin AND active PA board certification.

All Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant applicants must have: Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire.
