As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol in Amarillo TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas perform routine rounds and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures utility location policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to alarms incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner initiating notifications and/or escalation per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of utility areas buildings and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Control access by monitoring gates doors and designated entry points verifying authorization and directing visitors and/or contractors according to site procedures.
• Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation maintain patrol logs and communicate observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
