Job Summary

If yes we offer you the opportunity to joinValmet Packaging and PaperSales and Operation Planning function to leaddemand and supply planning for fixed period.This is a strategic role that ensures alignment between global demand and supply enabling efficient operations and customer will report tothe Director Sales and Operations PlanningPackaging and fixed term contract will last at the end of the year 2026.
As aDemand andSupplyPlanner you work ina very closecooperationwith different teams across areas and functions.
YourRoleandResponsibilities:
Developandmaintainsupplyplansbalancingdemandwithproductionlogisticsinventorycapacity andresources.
Createproductionandcapacityscenariosbasedon sales forecasts including cost and financial impact.
Identifybottlenecks andassessrisksandopportunitiesrelatedtocapacityleadtimes andcostefficiency.
CreateMicrosoft ProjectEquipment DeliverySchedules(EDS)duringthesalesphase.
Supportresourceplanningfor Engineering andProductionthroughworkloadcapacityanalysis.
ConductmakeorbuyanalysesandprepareTotalCostAnalyses(TCAs) tosupportfinanciallyoptimaldecisions.
CollaboratewithSales Engineering Manufacturing and Supply Chain tooptimizecostcapacityleadtimes andfinancialperformance.
Requirements:
Experience in demand and supply planningin industrial machinery or projectbased (ETO) environments.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop and evaluate demand supply capacity and scenario analyses;proficiencyin planning and analysis tools ( automation solutions Power BI).
Experience in supporting salesphase planning activities including cost capacity and schedule evaluations and in contributing to smooth handover from sales to execution.
Understanding capacity and resource planning for Engineering and Production including workload analysis and mediumterm outlooks.
Ability to work effectively in a global matrixed organization and collaborate across Sales Engineering Manufacturing and Supply Chain.
Proactive and structured mindset with a passion for process optimization proactive planning and datadriven decisionmaking.
Ability to prepare business analyses and planning insights to support management decisionmaking.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Fluency in English both written and spoken.
