How will your ideas contribute to shaping whats next
As a Senior Design Manager joining our expanding Victorian Water Team you will play an integral part in a highly skilled team to engineer resilient and sustainable water infrastructure solutions.Youll contribute to complex cityshaping projects such as treatment plants pump stations and pipelines working with a highly skilled team committed to excellence.
Here are the key things you will do to bring ideas to life:
Lead the design management of major water and wastewater projects including treatment plants pump stations and pipelines.
Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver integrated constructible and compliant design solutions.
Oversee the full design lifecycle-from concept to detailed design and delivery support-ensuring quality accuracy and alignment with client requirements.
Identify and manage technical and delivery risks resolving issues early and supporting smooth project delivery.
Work closely with clients contractors and internal project managers to maintain strong relationships and achieve time cost and quality outcomes.
Provide leadership mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers fostering collaboration growth and innovation within the team
Whatwerelooking for:
Tertiary qualification in Engineering (or equivalent).
Chartered status with Engineers Australia (or equivalent) and RPEV registration.
Strong technical understanding of water and wastewater infrastructure including treatment plants and pump stations.
10 years experience in similar roles ideally within D&C environments.
Knowledge of relevant Australian water industry standards and codes.
Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating with contractors on major projects.
Strong communication leadership problemsolving and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to foster a culture of learning innovation and collaboration while supporting your own professional development.
