Job Description
As a Security Officer -Townhome Communityin Buena Park CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Learn more: As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a residential community you will conduct routine patrols of grounds and amenities remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents and assist residents and guests with courteous service. You will support access control at entry points document observations and communicate clearly with your team. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to residents guests and vendors by following security-related procedures community policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of residential streets common areas amenity spaces and perimeter points; conditions may vary by location.
- Monitor access points and community rules compliance including observing gate activity and reporting unauthorized persons and/or suspicious activity to the appropriate party.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including contacting dispatch and/or local emergency services as required.
- Complete timely reports and logs document incidents and communicate observations and/or maintenance concerns to site leadership and property management.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
