Job Summary
Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Labor and Delivery
Location: Scottsbluff Nebraska
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 12 Hours 3 Days/Week 5:00 AM 5:00 PM
Weekly Gross Pay: $2500 $2800 (Based on Experience)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Labor and Delivery to provide high-quality patient care across Labor & Delivery Postpartum and Circulation areas.
The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise in maternal and newborn care with the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment. Experience assisting with cesarean section procedures and exposure to NICU or pediatric care is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in Labor & Delivery and Postpartum units.
Assist with circulation duties during obstetric procedures including cesarean deliveries.
Monitor maternal and fetal health throughout labor and delivery.
Support postpartum recovery and newborn care ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Collaborate with physicians midwives and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver quality patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments interventions and outcomes.
Follow hospital protocols safety standards and evidence-based nursing practices.
Required Certifications
BLS Basic Life Support
ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support
NRP Neonatal Resuscitation Program
Required Experience
Labor & Delivery nursing experience
Postpartum patient care experience
Circulation experience during obstetric procedures
Preferred Experience
Experience scrubbing in for Cesarean sections
NICU experience
Pediatric care experience
