Position Hours:
1:00 pm 9:30 pm M-F with a willingness to work weekends.
Position Responsibilities:
This position plans manages and monitors transportation operations. Specific duties entail but not limited to the following:
- Assist the lead supervisor with operations at shuttle service.
- Coordinate with the supervisor and the customer to prioritize operations.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with contract requirements.
- Responsible for ensuring a safe working environment by enforcing all safety procedures and requirements.
- Responsible for coordinating daily transportation routes vehicles used number of drivers; prepares and organizes a daily transportation schedule to ensure the timely transportation of all approved routes.
- Submit daily monthly and quarterly reports.
- Account for all employees and submit the PERSTAT daily.
- Ensure successful completion of all mission operations in accordance with established policies and management goals regarding funding storage workload manpower capability component issue equipment items and inventory control procedures.
- Performs employee discipline counseling employee performance reviews and other personnel reporting.
- Reviews and approves employee timesheets.
- Review and approve employee leave requests (LWOP sick and vacation).
- Screen applicants and conduct interviews for open positions.
- Ensures all employees observe policy procedures and regulatory guidance for physical security and monitors for compliance.
Basic Qualifications:
- US Citizen
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 18 years of age
- Must be able to pass pre-employment and background checks related to the position.
- Valid state drivers license
- Five or more years of supervisory experience a comprehensive knowledge of governing regulations policies procedures and instructions in TMP management.
Desired Qualifications:
- Must possess in-depth knowledge of applicable program relationships concepts and methodologies pertaining to shuttle service transportation operations.
- Knowledge of US Army regulations and procedures.
- Ability to gain cooperation and coordinate the work of others.
- Skill in written and oral presentations.
- Must have excellent skills in Microsoft Office applications.
- Capability to adjust work operations to meet emergency or changing program or production requirements within available resources and with minimum sacrifice to quantity and quality of work.
- Ability to establish program objectives or performance goals and assess progress.
- Either a Class A or Class B commercial driving license with air brake endorsement with 5 years experience
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks related to the position.
