Essential Functions

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions:

• Assists in the preparation and serving of food items according to departmental policies and procedures
• Serves food in proper pre-determined portion size
• Provides services to cafeteria customers in a friendly and efficient manner
• Operates dish machine
• Cleans food production area serving area and sitting area during and after meal service
• Performs other related duties as required.

Physical Demands

• The employee must be able to stand for long periods of time
• The employee must frequently lift or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move objects up to 25 pounds.

Preferred Education/Experience

• High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required
• Prior cafeteria or food industry experience preferred but not required
