Equifind are proudly working alongside a boutique asset manager for a Financial Reporting Accountant. To date they now boast just over $2bn in capital and $10bn invested across emerging markets with all work being focussed on the commodities side.
Amidst the recent growth they now have expansion plans in place for the Financial Reporting team where this will report directly into the CFO & a dotted line to the Head of FP&A. Its a brilliant role that will require you to bring an innovative approach to the position looking to continually improve internal processes and enhance the service delivery and business partnering of the finance department.
As the business grows so too will your role with more responsibility presented to you over time and likely a junior reporting into you fully. Alongside this you will also be working closely with the Head of FP&A on ad-hoc tasks such as building out financial plans for company expansions.
Having previously placed the entirety of the finance team I can safely say they are very much down to earth and are seeking someone with strong communication skills and the ability to work with a variety of different departments in a social yet professional environment in their top spec office by Bond Street.

Role & Purpose:
- Arrival of role due to growth recent expansion plans into Saudi Arabia and the UAE including offices and 4 soon to be fund launches.
- Head of Finance has continuous plans to further bring the finance team in house as a central group location
- Automation projects streamlining projects and system implementations.
Description:
Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Take ownership of the month-end close process for allocated entities ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting for a portfolio of clients group and third party.
- Review monthly management accounts profit and loss statements and balance sheet reconciliations prepared by junior team members.
- Prepare and review statutory accounts and supporting schedules in line with relevant accounting standards.
- Review intercompany accounting including reconciliations and recharge calculations.
- Review and manage accruals prepayments deferred income and other complex accounting estimates.
Audit Tax & Compliance
- Act as a primary contact for year-end audits coordinating information flow and responding to auditor queries.
- Support corporation tax R&D tax credit and other regulatory submissions in conjunction with external advisers.
- Ensure statutory filings with Companies House and other regulators are completed accurately and on time.
