About Position / Position Summary

The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Experienced DevOps Developer to join the team in Bangalore India.

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in implementing and managing the infrastructure and tools that enable continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) of software applications.

As a DevOps Developer you are required to design implement and manage infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines to support software development and deployment. This role involves collaborating with development QA and operations teams to automate processes enhance system reliability and optimize performance in cloud and on-premises environments. The ideal candidate is passionate about automation infrastructure as code and fostering a DevOps culture.

Position Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable secure and highly available infrastructure using cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure GCP) SAAS products (Databricks Snowflake) and on-premises solutions

• Design & develop reusable IaC modules for deploying Kubernetes Databricks Snowflake and other related cloud services on AWS and Azure

• Build and optimize continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to enable rapid and reliable software releases

• Automate repetitive tasks including provisioning configuration and monitoring using tools like Terraform Ansible or similar

• Implement and manage monitoring logging and alerting systems to ensure system reliability and performance (e.g. Prometheus Grafana ELK Stack)

• Integrate DevOps pipelines with tools like GitHub Actions GitLab CI or Jenkins

• Work closely with developers to integrate DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle and support containerized applications (e.g. Docker Kubernetes)

• Ensure infrastructure and pipelines adhere to security best practices and compliance requirements (e.g. ITAR EAR SOC 2 GDPR)

• Diagnose and resolve infrastructure deployment and performance issues in production and non-production environments

• Automate monitor and optimize cloud resource usage to balance performance and cost efficiency

• Integrate DevSecOps practices including secret management vulnerability scanning and compliance check

• Maintain clear documentation of infrastructure processes and configurations to support team collaboration and knowledge sharing

• Guide and mentor development team members and sharing knowledge to foster a DevOps culture

This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring teams discretion and could potentially change in the future.

BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• A Bachelors degree is required as a BASIC QUALIFICATION

• 5 years of progressive experience in DevOps and cloud platform operations.

• 3 years of hands-on experience designing implementing and managing multi-cloud CI/CD pipelines (AWS Azure GCP Databricks Snowflake).

• 3 years of experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform CloudFormation or Ansible and experience in containerization using Docker & Kubernetes.

• 1 years of experience implementing observability monitoring and tracing frameworks (Prometheus Grafana ELK/EFK Datadog etc.)

• 1 years of experience applying FinOps and cost optimization strategies in CI/CD pipelines and cloud operations to drive efficiency resource accountability and transparency spend.

• 3 years of experience in implementing security controls in CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (IAM RBAC secrets management encryption).

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 3 years of strong scripting and automation skills (Bash Python PowerShell or similar).

• 1 years of experience in Manufacturing and Aviation

• 2 years of experience implementing event-driven cloud-agnostic DevOps architectures supporting microservices APIs and serverless workloads.

• 2 years of experience integrating DevOps MLOps and expertise in AI/ML-driven observability or anomaly detection into infrastructure and DevOps pipelines.

Typical Education & Experience:

• Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 Plus years related work experience or Masters Degree with 8 years of experience with an equivalent combination of education and experience
