Job Summary

Arrow Machine and Fabrication Group is an engineering-focused solution provider of machined castings fabrications and assemblies. Group Division:

At Arrow Engineered Products we design and manufacture turnkey solutions for a wide range of customers with needs in nuclear chemical mixing heat exchanger and autoclave systems including fuel storage and various custom-designed pressure and non-pressure systems all in compliance with ASME PED ULC and API certified design criteria.

Compensation Range: $21.00 up to $24.91 hourly

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Setting up the paint line for various paint jobs
  • Washing and/or prepping for paint jobs
  • Spray painting of various parts
  • Following Kanban/tag schedule
  • Pre and post inspection of parts for defects
  • Monitor and maintain the paint equipment and tools
  • Reviewing and suggesting ways to increase throughput on the paint line
  • Monitoring/maintaining the respirator program
  • Strick adherence to safety
  • Various labour-intensive jobs include lifting carrying moving and so on
  • Other duties as required

Educational Requirements:

  • Completion of secondary school or equivalent
  • Prior experience in manufacturing environment in an asset

Required Skills & Expertise:

  • Knowledgeable in the mixing and application of the wet paint process
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Able to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Incumbent must be safety-conscious as well as dedicated and reliable.

Equipment/ Tools/ Technology Used:

  • Able to use jib cranes and related lifting attachment and handheld equipment that may be necessary to the job
  • Follow written instructions when completing a work order to barcode production

Physical Demands:

  • Manufacturing or workshop environment with exposure to loud noise and moving mechanical parts

Personal Protective Equipment provided must be worn
