What will you do
As a Junior Developer Digital Solutions you are responsible for the development of solutions for our customers. These solutions combine the implementation of an offtheshelf product with custom software. You will contribute to both the configuration and the programming of the tailored software using a wide range of technologies.
You will work together with the lead developer and the customer to gain a clear understanding of the requirements and achieve the best possible result as a team. You work on a project basis with a clearly defined scope and will also go on-site for implementation. You will be involved in multiple projects and will have input in defining the best solution.
Your tasks:
- You help configure the product according to the customers requirements.
- You are responsible for the design and implementation of specific applications (scripting ).
- Hands-on development and contributions throughout the entire software lifecycle.
- You develop test and document the applications.
- You help maintain and expand existing applications.
- You participate in Scrum team activities such as specifications and planning.
- Occasionally you take part in on-call duty (not mandatory).
- You will mainly work on-site at our customer in Beerse.
Who are you
- You have a bachelors or masters degree in Computer Science Electromechanics (automation) or another relevant field.
- You have initial experience with software development in SCADA products.
- Recent graduates with a strong interest in programming in an industrial environment are also welcome.
- Interest and/or experience in the life sciences industry is a plus.
- Experience with Proficy iFix SCADA is nice bonus
- You quickly familiarize yourself with existing applications.
- You are eager to learn analytical and have strong problemsolving skills.
- Your customer-oriented mindset allows you to understand the customers situation and you always listen for potential questions or issues.
- If necessary solving on-site malfunctions does not intimidate you.
- Cant check all the boxes No problem we offer plenty of room to grow.
- Proficiency in Dutch and English is required; knowledge of French is a plus.
- You have a category B driving licence and are willing to travel abroad for short periods.
