Job Summary
The Amazon LEO team is looking for a Sr. Technical Program Manager with experience in driving Global expansion of products/business units. The role will interface with cross-functional product business and engineering teams to develop robust solution to expand to new geographies that will go into Satellites and Ground equipment/terminals. Key job responsibilities
In this role you will:
- Collaborate with engineering leaders both within Leo and broader Amazon to create project execution plans for international expansion.
- Work with business legal accounting and go-to-market teams to develop clear test and readiness criteria and plans.
- Work with engineering and product/program management to track and report out launch status.
- Drive engineering project execution make technical trade-off recommendations understand the technical challenges enable solutions track and report on status and resolve blocking issues.
- Own visibility into launch status by proactively communicating progress risks and blockers to key stakeholders and leadership.
Export Control Requirement:
Due to applicable export control laws and regulations candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national U.S. permanent resident (i.e. current Green Card holder) or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
- 5 years of technical product or program management experience
- 7 years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 3 years of software development experience
- 5 years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams building processes and coordinating release schedules
- 5 years of project management disciplines including scope schedule budget quality along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience defining KPIs/SLAs used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
