Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation
Position: Cancer Rehabilitation Fellow Physiatrist
Location: West Orange Chester and Saddle Brook NJ
Schedule: Full-Time Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm
Compensation: $90000 - $98000 (based on experience)
Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified physiatrist Fellow for full-time employment. The successful candidate will have a strong interest in inpatient and outpatient addition to general PM&R practice there are a variety of specialty programs the interested candidate may pursue. Research and teaching opportunities are also available.

Founded in 1948 Kessler Institute has long been recognized for its pioneering leadership in the field of medical rehabilitation and is currently ranked #4 in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. The hospital in collaboration with Kessler Foundation is one of only ten centers across the country to be designated as a Model System for the treatment and research of both traumatic brain (TBI) and spinal cord injuries (SCI). Accredit by the Joint Commission and CARF (SCI TBI stroke amputation and general rehabilitation) Kessler Institute also offers comprehensive programs for complex medical stroke orthopedic trauma neurologic diseases cancer and cardiac recovery.
Responsibilities
This largely outpatient position offers a tremendous opportunity for professional growth and development. The ideal candidate will have fellowship training in cancer rehabilitation fellowship training in an allied subspecialty (neuromuscular musculoskeletal brain injury spinal cord injury) or significant clinical experience in cancer rehabilitation. Exceptional candidates without fellowship experience will be considered.
Kessler Institute in collaboration with the Kessler Foundation is one of only eight centers across the nation to be designated as a Model System for both traumatic brain injury and spinal cord injury.
