What Youll Be Doing
Operate a shovel to safely load material into haul trucks or hoppers
Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance
Communicate with team members to ensure efficient pit operations
Monitor material quality and report inconsistencies
Follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations
What Are We Looking For
Demonstrated ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
Strong awareness of safety practices in an industrial setting
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to learn and adapt to changing work conditions
Reliable attendance and commitment to quality work
Conditions of Employment
Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination drug/alcohol screen and background check
Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
Work Environment
Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment inclement weather heat cold humidity and elevated noise level
