What Youll Be Doing

  • Operate a shovel to safely load material into haul trucks or hoppers

  • Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance

  • Communicate with team members to ensure efficient pit operations

  • Monitor material quality and report inconsistencies

  • Follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations

What Are We Looking For

  • Demonstrated ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently

  • Strong awareness of safety practices in an industrial setting

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changing work conditions

  • Reliable attendance and commitment to quality work

Conditions of Employment

  • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination drug/alcohol screen and background check

  • Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing

Work Environment

  • Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment inclement weather heat cold humidity and elevated noise level
