Sandvik Mining is a business area within the Sandvik Group and a leading global supplier of equipment tools service and technical solutions for the mining industry. The product offering covers rock drilling rock cutting rock crushing loading and hauling and materials handling.

Main Responsibilities:

• Update andmaintainwarehouse location system

• Assistin cycle counting and physical inventory

• Prepare export documentation asrequired

• Maintain shipping supplies inventory

• Arrange shipping/transport

• Accept/reject vendor inventory transactions

• Build sound relationships with the workshop team and internal and external customers to ensure smooth operations

• Participatein customer on-call service asrequired

• Expedite urgent orders to ensure customer receives when needed

• Identifyand report any unsafe work habits workplace incidents and / or near misses

• Comply withSMRT safety policies and applicable government customer or industry regulations or requirements

• Accounts for all materials and supplies in thestoresfacilities; audits goods received into warehouse.

• Oversees receipt storage and shipment of materials and related reportingin accordance withestablished procedures.

• Prepares and coordinates schedules for shipping and receiving materials to control the flow of goods and regulate warehouse space.

• Ensures the effectiveness of operating procedures spaceutilization and maintenance and protection of facilities and equipment.

• Youcanoperatea forklift and be capable of lifting 50 lbs.

• Performs other relevant duties as assigned by Warehouse Supervisor

EXPERIENCE

• 6months related warehouse experience.

EDUCATION

• Youpossessa high school diploma or equivalentyears of experience in a warehouse environment.
