The iconic Hotel del Coronadois looking for aBanquet Houseperson to join the team! Join one of the last surviving wooden Victorian beach resorts in the world and after a $400M renovation and expansion the resort is more stunning than ever.
Located on Coronado Island just minutes from Downtown San Diego this 28-acre property was built in 1888 and has over 750 rooms cottages and villas with 65000 square feet of banquet space and 10 food and beverage outlets. This includes 4 restaurants 2 bars a food truck marketplace ice cream shop and in-room dining.
Classification:Full-Time
Shift: Various must be available to weekdays weekends and holidays.
Pay Rate:The pay rates for this role is $19.60 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.

What will I be doing
As our Set Up person in Banquets you will be responsible for set-up break down and cleaning of all banquet spaces and functions. Assisting guest in functions areas as needed. Specifically you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Maintain cleanliness of banquet meeting and conference areas to meet established cleanliness and quality standards
- Project a professional manner to guests and team members
- Assist back of house team when requested
- Able to lift and Push Banquet Equipment
- Assist with set ups to ensure department runs efficiently
- Manage the set up relating to Food and Beverage functions in a timely manner
- Lift/Pull/Push at least 40 pounds
