The Forum Facility TechnicianJob SummaryThe Facilities Technician is primarily responsible for assuring the cleanliness and overall appearance of the facility including bathrooms floors common areas stairs and grounds. This position also assists with light repair and maintenance work and provides support services throughout the building.Key Responsibilities- Clean and maintain the floors including waxing buffing striping and mopping.
- Clean and maintain the common building areas including bathrooms corridors elevators entrances staircases and exits.
- Trash removal and replenish supplies as needed.Perform other duties as assigned by Facilities Maintenance Manager.
Qualifications- Maintains effective working relationships with support personnel contractors vendors and other service providers.
- Keeps management informed of the operating status of the building.
- Supports minimal down time for mechanical equipment and building operations.
- Maintains positive working relationships with facility users and vendors.
- Minimum of two years experience in floor maintenance procedures.
- Ability to perform light maintenance repairs.
- Ability to lift equipment and other materials of up to 100 pounds.
- Strong communication skills flexibility attention to details
- Internal customer service skills to support a dynamic environment.
Skills and Abilities- Skilled communicator with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of the organization.
- Effective working relationships with facility users tenants vendors and staff.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and balance multiple projects and processes simultaneously.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand walk and sit. The employee must often lift and/or move up to 100 pounds (including office equipment furniture etc.). The employee must often crouch stoop or reach. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision color vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment The Forum is a ministry service unit of OneHope Inc. and as such is committed to a work environment where the standards represent well the character and passion of God.
