Our experienced Financial Services Tax team of 160 professionalsled by our 12partnersare experts in their respective fields specialising in the dynamic and diverse world of Financial Services. The group works across the core areas of Aviation Finance Asset & WealthManagementandtheCore Corporate Group (servicing largeBanking andInsuranceclients)and provides tax compliance and advisory services to clients in areas such as aviation finance treasury operations insurance realestateand investment funds. We also have a dedicated team working on the opportunitiesin the Fintech sector where there has been significant growth in recent years. We are a team that embraces change and are focused on using technology-based solutions to deliver an excellent client service.
What we do:
Our role is to develop tax solutions for our clients both locally and internationally to fit with their commercial aims. Our clients include many of the leading domestic and multinational financial institutions. Our regular interactions with both Irish Revenue and the Department of Finance as well as our connections with various industry bodies and the OECD working groups enable us to be at the forefront of an ever changing and dynamic tax environment.

You will work with some of the best FS Tax professionals both in PwC Ireland but also within our unrivalled global network giving you a unique opportunity to collaborate with colleagues around the world and work not only on Irish tax issues but also on transactions spanning international borders.
Our global Aviation Finance network led from Dublinhas dedicated specialists in over 120 countries providing local Aviation Finance knowledge from a single point of contact in Dublin.
As a Director in FS Taxyoullwork as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience helping our clients solve complex tax and broader business issues from strategy to execution. At PwCyoullbe empowered to:
Lead and manage a challengingevolvingand varied client portfolio.
Bring business knowledgeinnovationand insight to create value for your portfolio of clients and the firm. This can be delivered alongside our market leading aviation finance advisory services team.
Collaborate with your clients to analyse how to transform their business how to develop and implement innovative solutions.
Develop andmaintaindeep business relationships and market profile with a view to developing opportunities and winning new business.
Identifygaps in the market and spot opportunities to bring value to our clients.
Be at the forefront whenrepresentingnew legislation/regulations and Irish/EU/OECD tax policy developments to our clients.
Have an active role in coaching our team members promoting a learning culture.
Embrace the digital evolution within our business and with our clients motivated toidentifyopportunities to drive these technologies further in our day-to-day business and that of our clients.
Support your team to disruptimproveand evolve ways of working when necessary makingoptimaluse of the latest technology available.

About you Key skills and competencies:
At least 10years experiencein Tax consulting.
AITI/CTA Qualified (or qualified by experience) with a strong academic record.
Strong academic record with aDegreein accounting economics finance or law.
Commercial awareness with an ability to develop business opportunitiesin order togenerate growth within FS and the firm.
Relationship management - ability to read situations andmodifybehaviour to build quality and diverse relationships.
Creative - developnew ideasand propose innovative solutions to problems.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Enthusiastic team player and manager with a passion to coach and encourage others to achieve their potential.
Leadership demonstratestrong commitment and experience to developing yourself your team members yourclientsand your business.
