Overview
A well-established manufacturing company based in Keighley is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead and manage all quality assurance compliance and health & safety activities across the site. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who can ensure high product standards maintain regulatory compliance and drive continuous improvement within a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Management

  • Oversee the companys Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.

  • Develop implement and maintain quality policies procedures and work instructions.

  • Manage internal and external audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively.

  • Monitor product quality performance and analyse data to identify areas for improvement.

  • Investigate customer complaints and non-conformances implementing root cause analysis and corrective actions.

  • Work closely with production and engineering teams to improve processes and product quality.

Health & Safety

  • Lead and maintain the companys Health & Safety systems and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation.

  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure safe systems of work are implemented across the site.

  • Investigate incidents accidents and near misses ensuring corrective actions are taken.

  • Deliver health & safety training and promote a strong safety culture throughout the organisation.

  • Maintain health & safety documentation and ensure policies remain up to date.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.

  • Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Report quality and safety performance metrics to senior management.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a Quality Manager or senior quality role within a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems and audit processes.

  • Good understanding of UK Health & Safety regulations.

  • Experience conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.

  • Strong leadership communication and organisational skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Desirable

  • Experience with ISO standards (e.g. ISO 9001).

  • Health & Safety qualification such as NEBOSH or IOSH.

  • Experience in continuous improvement methodologies.
