VBCS/JavaScript process extensions UI customizations

Key Responsibilities

Application Development

• Develop SaaS extension components using Oracle VBCS and APEX

• Create forms workflows and dashboards to extend Oracle Cloud ERP capabilities

• Use Oracle JET for modern UI design within VBCS
  

Integration & Data Handling

• Utilize Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for connecting extensions with SaaS APIs

• Consume REST services exposed by Oracle Cloud ERP for real-time data updates

• Write clean and efficient code using JavaScript SQL and PL/SQL

• Handle data access securely and efficiently using REST BIP extracts or database views
  

Testing and Debugging

• Conduct unit testing and support system/integration testing
  

Documentation & Maintenance

• Maintain documentation for application logic interface definitions and deployment procedures
  

Security & Compliance

• Implement role-based access control and secure data handling

• Follow Oracles SaaS extensibility guidelines to ensure upgrade safety
  

Requirements & Preferred experience

• 35 years of experience in Oracle Cloud ERP/PaaS development

• Hands-on experience with Oracle VBCS APEX JavaScript SQL/PLSQL

• Understanding of REST APIs SaaS data models and Oracle integration patterns

• Familiarity with FBDI templates and BI Publisher outputs

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field

• Exposure to Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and Autonomous DB

• Experience with SaaS modules like Financials or Procurement

• Knowledge of Oracle JET Git and DevOps deployment workflows
