Job Description
As a Security Officer Flex Armed Rover Driver in Plano TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Learn more: As an Armed Patrol Officer at a busy retail and mall location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a highly visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents and support guests and store teams through strong customer service and clear communication. This post requires Level III Armed Certification and a valid drivers license under AU driver policy requirements. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients and customers by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a retail location.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store entrances parking areas and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including conflicts medical calls and/or suspicious activity and request additional assistance as needed.
- Monitor and report security-related conditions such as unauthorized access loitering and/or potential theft activity and document observations in written reports.
- Carry handle and store assigned firearms and other issued equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies post orders and all applicable laws and training requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 3 years combined law enforcement corrections and/or military experience or 5 years armed security experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas only.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
