This role is responsible for managing third party technology assets for one of more portfolios including licensing financials commercial agreements business case development and product this role the Product Specialist will function as a business owner and manage the relationship with commercial partners and ensure success of the commercialized products.
Position Summary
Seeking a dynamic AI Infrastructure Services Product Specialist to lead the strategy lifecycle and business management of our cutting-edge AI infrastructure products and this role you will shape the future of AI capabilities within the enterprise by driving product roadmaps managing vendor relationships and ensuring seamless delivery of services that power AI and GenAI innovation.
As the bridge between technology and business role will collaborate with engineering operations and application teams to align solutions with enterprise goals. Role oversees financials vendor risk and lifecycle management while influencing technical development priorities. This is a unique opportunity for someone passionate about AI technologies who thrives on translating technical capabilities into business valuewithout needing hands-on coding expertise.
Responsibilities:
- Manage commercial software licenses and procurement processes for AI Infrastructure products.
- Partner with CIO application teams to manage hardware and software demand forecasts.
- Own the end-to-end lifecycle of AI infrastructure products and services from strategy to execution.
- Drive financial accountability including budgeting forecasting chargebacks and benchmarking.
- Lead vendor negotiations manage contracts and mitigate vendor risk in collaboration with procurement and vendor management.
- Partner with engineering and vendor teams to deliver innovative solutions and manage technical development activities.
Required Qualifications:
- Five years experience managing software lifecycles and licensing.
- Five years experience driving business-side technology initiatives: application requirements gathering roadmap development and financial management.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
Desired Qualifications:
- Familiarity with AI/ML and GenAI solutions (e.g. NVIDIA Red Hat Posit MathWorks).
- Negotiating large-scale software agreements and managing vendor relationships.
- Building product level business cases for technology investments.
- Present technical and financial insights to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Leading executive briefings with vendors and internal stakeholders.
