You will support access control points assist students staff and visitors with professionalism and communicate clearly with campus partners. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service at a university campus location by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of academic buildings residence areas common spaces and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to alarms incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner requesting additional support and/or public services as needed per site procedures.
• Monitor access points and interior spaces during patrols assist with directing students staff and visitors and report unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Complete detailed incident reports and daily activity logs communicate observations to site leadership and support campus events with security-related presence and guidance.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
