Superintendents Administrative Assistant
2026-2027 School Year
Position Summary
Provides high-level administrative technical and confidential support to the Superintendent
and District Administration. This position requires strong organizational skills advanced
technology proficiency and the ability to manage digital communications including district
social media platforms.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide executive-level administrative support to the Superintendent.
- Manage calendars meetings travel arrangements and correspondence.
- Prepare reports presentations and official district documents.
- Manage and assist with district social media platforms and digital communications.
- Assist with website updates and electronic document management.
- Serve as primary point of contact for the Superintendents office.
- Assist with Board of Education meeting preparation and documentation.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and exercise professional judgment at all times.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Superintendent.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree preferred.
- Minimum of 35 years of administrative or executive support experience preferred.
- Strong technology skills including Microsoft Office Google Workspace and social media platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a school district or public-sector setting.
- Experience managing official social media or digital communications.
Work Environment & Terms of Employment
Office-based position with occasional evening work for meetings or events. Employment is
based on the district classified salary schedule and Board-approved contract terms. Continued
employment is contingent upon satisfactory performance compliance with district policies and
district staffing needs.
