Texas A&M University at Irma Rangel College of Pharmacy invites applications for an Associate Professor or Professor faculty opening in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences in College Station in the area of pharmaceutical sciences. This is a full-time 11-month tenure-track/tenured position with an earliest possible start date of Spring 2026. Candidate will be considered for either a tenure-track or tenured Associate Professor or tenured Professor position depending on qualifications. The salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Responsibilities would include: 1. making contributions to research in the department related to one or multiple broader areas of biomedical pharmaceutical or related areas as well as developing and maintaining a sustainable and extramurally-funded research program 2. teaching/assisting in the delivery of the Colleges PharmD and/or PhD in pharmaceutical sciences programs 3. mentoring and advising of students and postdocs and 4. providing service within and outside the college and contributing to establishing a positive supportive and collaborative environment. Current research in the department with potential for collaboration include: drug delivery and formulations cardiovascular disease diabetes oncology infectiousdisease as well as pharmacoepidemiology and pharmacoeconomics. There are ample opportunities to engage in collaborative research conduct applied and contract research and contribute to enhancing the research portfolio as well as theteaching and service mission of the College and Texas A&M University. Candidates must have earned a Ph.D. degree in Biomedical and/or Pharmaceutical Sciences or a related field and have excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills. Candidates with a track record of effective scholarship funding previous teaching experience and research interests that complement the strengths of the college will be given preference. Evidence of sustained and effective contributions in teaching research/scholarship and service with a level of accomplishment and impact appropriate for appointment at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor.This position provides opportunities for individuals with a strong commitment to an academic career with emphasis on research instruction and service.
