About the role

As a Senior Management Accountant within the Gross Margin team you will take full ownership of the gross margin accounting internal reporting and financial insight that drive strategic decisionmaking across the business.

Reporting to the Finance Manager you will lead monthend delivery oversee P&L and Balance Sheet integrity strengthen business partnering across key commercial and operational teams and proactivelyidentifyrisks and opportunities. Acting as a senior member of the team you will coach and mentor junior accountants set standards of excellence and continuously improve our financial ability to influence challenge and communicate with clarity will ensure high-quality financial outputs and supportSharkNinjasambitious growth.

Management Reporting & Month-End

Lead the production ofaccuratetimelymonthly management accounts ensuring clear and insightful variance explanations.

Present monthly financial results to Finance and non-Finance stakeholders translating complex data into clear actionable insight.

P&L and Balance Sheet Ownership

Own the Gross Margin P&L providingindepthmargin and variance analysis to highlight risks opportunities and key trends.

Take full responsibility for Balance Sheet postings and reconciliations ensuring completeness accuracy and robust risk assessment.

Business Partnering

Build strong relationships with Sales FP&A Commercial and Supply Chain teams acting as a trusted partner.

Use your analytical problemsolving skills to support decisionmaking challenge assumptions and provide data driven recommendations.

Deliver clear concise financial insight tailored for non-Finance audiences.

Leadership & Team Development

Mentor and support junior a culture of accuracy accountability and continuous improvement.

Process Improvement & Systems

Identifyinefficiencies in accounting and reporting processes leadingimprovementsand automation initiatives.

Support enhancements within ERP systems and reporting tools to streamlinemonthendand improve visibility.

Skills & Experience

Experience:Previousexperience in a finance/accounting roleideally with exposure to B2B or e-commerce channels.

Technical Skills:Knowledge of gross margin accountingstrongExcelskillsERP experience (Oracle or similar) of IFRS15 and Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) is preferred.

Qualification:Fully qualified accountant or finalist in ACCA / CIMA (or equivalent).

Communication:Strongcommunicationskills both written and verbal with the ability to explain financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

Agility & Drive:Thrive in a fast-paced high-growth environment with a proactive results-oriented approach.
