In Ditzingen you will encounter security solutions for monitoring and safeguarding borders and border controls protection of civil and military facilities and tactical communication. Join the Thales expert team for radio communication systems cybersecurity and cryptography for encryption components and hardware security modules and electronic key management systems.

Your mission as Project Manager:

  • Lead and manage projects to successful completion with regard to technical industrial financial and schedule objectives while ensuring customer satisfaction in close collaboration with Solution Management Portfolio Management Bid Management PMO and R&D

  • Establish and maintain project baselines (e.g. requirements scope work breakdown structure resource and schedule planning budget and cost structure) and ensure a structured project launch and effective project organization

  • Coordinate and manage internal and external stakeholders lead cross-functional project teams and ensure effective collaboration with partners and suppliers

  • Monitor financial performance and project KPIs manage budgets and costs and implement proactive risk and opportunity management including mitigation measures

  • Ensure compliance with contractual and governance requirements conduct regular project reporting and reviews and manage the formal project closure including documentation and lessons learned

We are looking forward to:

  • Degree in IT Engineering or a related field (e.g. Information Systems Industrial Engineering Business Engineering) and proven experience in project management

  • Strong interpersonal communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across interdisciplinary and international teams

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills a structured working style and a proactive attitude with the persistence to drive tasks to completion

  • Business fluency in German and English (written and spoken) with the ability to negotiate influence and communicate confidently with customers and partners

  • Ideally you have a military background or experience in collaboration with federal agencies as customer (e.g. BAAINBw / Bundesamt für Ausrüstung Informationstechnik und Nutzung der Bundeswehr)
