Job Summary

Data Engineer SAP PP Production Data ECC and S4HANA
A Data Engineer responsible for extracting and transforming SAP PP Production data from SAP ECC and SAP S4HANA for use in a target SaaS MES solution The role focuses on building reliable data pipelines using SQL collaborating with manufacturing and IT stakeholders to deliver accurate governed data
Responsibilities
SQL Extraction Develop performant SQL queries to extract PP data objects from ECC and S4HANA including Process Orders Assigned BOMs Materials Equipment and Functional Locations leveraging abstraction to avoid multiple pipelines and enable seamless system migration
Pipeline Engineering SnapLogic Work alongside SnapLogic Engineers to support the build of robust monitored SnapLogic pipelines for transformation and delivery to the SaaS MES with parameterization modular components and versioned configurations to support multi system sources
Collaboration and Governance Partner with SAP functional and technical teams and manufacturing stakeholders Adhere to data governance compliance and change control
Documentation and Support Revise User Requirement Specification URS documentation to ensure source table and field names data types and target locations are recorded for each geographical site for which data ingestions are established
Required Skills and Experience
Advanced SQL with hands on experience querying SAP ECC and SAP S4HANA PP datasets tables views joins
Solid knowledge of SAP PP objects and structures process orders BOMs materials equipment and functional locations
Highly Advantageous
Knowledge of AstraZeneca database structure naming conventions and integration patterns across manufacturing data domains
Experience working in regulated GxP environments with strong documentation auditability and compliance practices
