What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff visitors and vendors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a tech media and/or telecom location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including coordinating with site contacts and emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas exterior grounds and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or hazardous conditions.
• Monitor access points and authorized entry procedures verify identification and/or visitor credentials and document unusual activity in accordance with post orders.
• Complete detailed shift logs and incident reports communicate notable events during shift turnovers and use surveillance systems and/or other security-related equipment as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Client requires proof of a high school diploma and/or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
