Job Summary

SECURITY at Destination Geneva NationalJoin Destination Geneva Nationals exceptional hospitality team as part-time Security maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests and associates by patrolling and monitoring Lodge Geneva National the GN Clubhouse grounds Hunt Club Steakhouse and around the Cottages & Suites overnight lodging four nights per week Friday-Sunday. This is a third-shift RESPONSIBILITIESResponsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Secure the premises and personnel by patrolling property monitoring surveillance equipment and inspecting buildings equipment and access help by sounding alarms and notifying local operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturers instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; and evaluating new equipment and loss and damage by reporting irregularities inform violators of policy and procedures and restrain reports by recording observations information occurrences and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; and obtaining the environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment the propertys stability and reputation by complying with legal to guest security requests (e.g. when locked out of assigned room).Keep hallways clear (e.g. remove room service trays).Assist Building Maintenance team as & QUALIFICATIONSHigh School degree or equivalentFormer Security experience ideal but not requiredCurrent drivers licenseSurveillanceSound judgmentObjectivityDependabilityIntegritySafety managementProfessionalismReportingEmotional controlEffective communicatorPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSAbility to stand/walk for long periods while patrolling to respond quickly to to life heavy objects and agility to navigate obstacles during dexterity to operate radios surveillance cameras and auditory acuity to see and hear clearly to detect suspicious activity respond to alarms and communicate effectively with guests and to work long shifts and/or irregular hours and remain alert and focused throughout shifts.
