About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Material Planner to join our Supply Chain this role you will ensure the timely availability of materials required for the production of high-precision electron microscopes and spectroscopy systems. You will play a key role in balancing material availability inventory levels and production demands in a dynamic international manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage material requirements based on production forecasts and customer orders
- Ensure timely procurement and availability of components and raw materials
- Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock to meet service and cost targets
- Collaborate closely with Procurement Production Engineering and Logistics teams
- Proactively mitigate supply risks
- Manage master data in ERP/MRP systems
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the Supply Chain function
- Support new product introduction (NPI) projects from a planning perspective
Your Profile
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Logistics Business Engineering or related field
- Experience in material planning production planning or supply chain (preferably in manufacturing environment)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle etc.)
- Good understanding of inventory management principles
- Ability to work cross-functionally in an international environment
- Fluent in English and Czech/Slovak (spoken and written)
Nice to Have
- Experience in high-tech electronics or precision manufacturing industry
- Knowledge of lean principles or continuous improvement methodologies
- APICS/CPIM certification
