Job Summary

Undergraduate Research Assistants will support a community-based research project focused on conducting a needs assessment and designing culturally tailored intergenerational programs for Korean older adults in the UrbanaChampaign area. The project examines service barriers social isolation and community resources to inform future intervention development.

Research Assistants will assist with survey administration data entry recruitment coordination and research logistics in collaboration with community partners.

Pay Rate

$15/hour

Required Qualifications

1. Current undergraduate student at Illinois State University.
2. Interest in research related to aging community engagement or health disparities.
3. Interest in working with diverse and immigrant populations.
4. Strong written and oral communication skills.
5. Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience with data entry or survey research.
2. Experience working with community organizations.
3. Korean language proficiency is desirable but not required.

Work Hours

Approximately 10 hours per week for two months (estimated 8 weeks).

Important Information for Applicants
