Job Summary
DNV GreenPowerMonitor USA aSCADA Project Engineer to work hybrid in our Austin TX.
Job Duties:
- Generate cabinets drawings including the hardware for the SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition; a type of industrial control system used to monitor control and automate processes in renewable energy) solution based on the project descriptions and Project Manager indications.
- SCADA is to ensure safety efficiency and automation in operations.
- Support and help the team to reach the schedules for deliveries.
- Support the commissioning of the SCADA.
- Configure software.
- Technical report writing critical reviewing and professional presentation to deliver to client to be able to maintain the project.
- Design of SCADA system architecture to capture all the information needed to operate the renewable asset.
- Design of SCADA views.
- Organize on-demand training sessions to empower users to be self-sufficient.
- Requires 20% domestic travel.
- Role is hybrid allowing periodic work from home within a reasonable commuting distance of the Austin TX office.
Salary range:$101209/year

Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Engineering or related field of study and three (3) years of experience as a SCADA Project Engineer Project Coordinator or related role where required experience gained.
Special Skills:Also requires experience in the following:
- Linux Operation system and scripting;
- Networking: IP VLANs Redundancy protocols firewall configuration;
- Communication protocols such as Modbus TCP Modbus RTU DNP3;
- Autocad design and drawings; and
- Windows servers operating system.
