Introduction
Position: Registered Nurse Surgical ICU (SICU)
Location: Cape Town (Central)
REF: MVG-SICU
A leading private healthcare group is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver specialised patientcentred care within a dynamic Surgical ICU environment. The role requires advanced clinical competence sound judgement and the ability to coordinate holistic care within a multidisciplinary team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing expert assessment planning and implementation of specialised nursing care.
- Acting as a clinical resource and patient advocate to ensure safe highquality outcomes.
- Leading emergency interventions and maintaining bestpractice standards.
- Supporting continuous training mentoring and professional development within the unit.
- Ensuring effective communication teamwork and optimal utilisation of resources.
Requirements:
- Registered Professional Nurse with SANC.
- Strong knowledge of specialised nursing theory ICU principles and modern clinical practice.
- Post Basic qualification in Critical Care Nursing highly preferred or at least 4-5 years experience within ICU
