Job Summary
Dates of Program: July 6 2026 -July 30 2026
Days of Program: Mondays Tuesdays Wednesdays and Thursdays
Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Locations: Montclair State University
Staff Needed: One (1) Teacher
Qualifications:
- Must be currently employed by Paterson Public Schools
- Individual employed as Susbstitutes need not apply
- Must be working within the appropriate new Jersey Content Area
- New Jersey Teacher Certification K-8 and Language Arts
- Must travel from PPS to Montclair State University on a school bus with students daily
- Must be proficient in Google Classroom
- Experience working with Middle School students
- Must be able to work the entire length and all components of the program
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with students staff parents administrators and community
- Excellent interpersonal skills integrity and good moral character
- Must be a critical thinker problem solver and have respect for others
- Experience in sports journalism preferred
