Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines is searching for a Bus person to join the team.
The coastal retreat with breathtaking views is situated along the beautiful Torrey Pines Golf Course overlooking the sunny shores of La Jolla. The property boasts almost 40000 square feet of event space 2 food and beverage offerings and 394 guest rooms.

The ideal candidate for this role should possess:

• Minimum of six (6) months of experience in a similar role within a high-volume restaurant.
• Previous experience as a Busser or Barback in a restaurant bar or lounge.
• Valid Food Handlers and RBS certifications.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous restaurant and hotel experience is highly preferred.

Shift Pattern: open availability for AM/PM shifts
The hourly rate: $18.75 tips

What will I be doing

As a Busperson you would be responsible for setting and clearing dining tables and stocking service stations in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Set and prepare tables for dining including but not limited to folding napkins cleaning and placing tableware serving water etc.
• Ensure tableware is in good and working condition and report any defects for repair
• Stock maintain and clean designated food station(s)
• Assist food server(s) with table service including but not limited to serving beverages breads etc.
• Retrieve and transport dirty tableware to dishwashing area
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely friendly and efficient manner
