About the Role

Were looking for a Director of Marketing to own and scale our customer acquisition engine. This is a hands-on high-impact leadership role that combines strategic vision with deep executional expertise particularly in Meta advertising and creative strategy. Youll lead the team responsible for new customer growth product positioning and messaging product launches and partnership marketing.

This role is designed to be both strategic and execution-oriented. Youll set the direction for acquisition marketing while staying close enough to the work to build test and iterate on campaigns yourself. Youll manage a cross-functional team spanning performance marketing creative and agency partnerships and youll collaborate closely with retention marketing to drive full-funnel impact.

What Youll Own

  • Acquisition strategy and new customer growth across all paid and organic channels

  • Product positioning messaging and go-to-market strategy for new launches

  • Meta advertising end-to-end: creative strategy campaign architecture audience development spend scaling and performance optimization

  • Creative strategy and pipeline: developing high-performing ad concepts iterating based on data and guiding the creative team and design resources

  • Google Ads management and optimization across Search Shopping and YouTube

  • Partnership marketing strategy and execution

  • Channel expansion: identifying testing and scaling emerging acquisition channels (e.g. TikTok CTV podcasts Amazon)

  • Agency management: directing external partners (performance and creative agencies) to deliver against growth targets

  • Cross-functional collaboration with retention marketing to align on customer lifecycle strategy and maximize LTV

Requirements

  • 7 years of experience in growth or performance marketing with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing teams and agencies

  • Deep hands-on expertise in Meta advertising: campaign structure creative testing frameworks audience strategy bid optimization and scaling spend profitably. This is non-negotiable.

  • Proven creative strategy background: you can concept brief evaluate and iterate on ad creative with a performance mindset. Also non-negotiable.

  • Strong working knowledge of Google Ads (Search Shopping YouTube) and attribution/measurement tools

  • Experience with product positioning messaging development and go-to-market planning

  • Track record of scaling DTC or CPG customer acquisition with measurable ROI

  • Ability to manage and get the most out of external agency partners

  • Data-driven decision maker comfortable with CAC/LTV modeling contribution margin analysis and performance reporting

  • Cross-functional operator who can partner effectively with brand product content and retention teams

  • Experience launching and scaling emerging channels (TikTok CTV influencer podcasts)

  • Comfort operating in a lean high-growth environment where you build and optimize simultaneously

  • Familiarity with attribution platforms such as Northbeam Triple Whale or similar

  • Experience in health wellness or supplement/CPG categories
